The North Fraser Métis Association is proud to announce the launch of our Hydroponic Microsystem Garden. This innovative, self-contained system enhances food security for our Métis community by providing year-round access to fresh, locally grown produce. Beyond healthy food, the garden creates pathways for economic development and sustainability, generating new jobs and hands-on training opportunities that will benefit our community for the future.
Growing with Passion and Dedication
Vertical farming allows for cultivation year-round, regardless of the climate or location. The versatile all in one system can be scaled to fit in any location, be it an existing indoor or outdoor space or vacant land. Owning a hydroponic garden provides a community with food security, fresh local produce grown year round and a means for economic development.
